Random facts about the Not Human species

(Just a bunch of stuff I thought y’all should know)




-All the creature’s hate fireworks. They make them think of bombs from past wars, So on New Year’s and such they all wear headphones and hide. Even children born without war naturally fear them.

-Every creature has a different taste in games and weapons, depending on their childhood generally. Most play games that can be lethal, to one or more of the players depending the roles.

-When born, instead of crying like human babies, the creatures come out laughing. This being the case, most first words are “Ha ha”.

-Drinking the blood of each other (Only between creatures) is a very intimate act between them, usually only done between mates. That’s why their blood was made to be poisons to human’s, so no crossbreeding would occur. (That’s also why Oliver is so well Loved and known. His Blood in the cupcakes gives other creature the taste of his affection, so they unconsciously feel fondness towards him. That’s why it’s basically impossible for them to hate him)

-The flames in their eyes shatter all illusions. If their tears get into human eyes, the humans could forever see what the creatures see.

-Females take up about .04% of the species.

-Because the parents often die before the children have matured, siblings are always born to take care of one another.

-the species takes up about 1/3 of the planet’s population, but is quickly decreasing unlike the human race which is always increasing. It is said that the only reason the population reached that magnitude is because almost none were killed in the great flood.

-they often don’t like to be alone. Like us, they’re social beings and need interaction with something, whether it is animal or human pet.

-They have not picked a name for their species because no one can agree on one name.

-At ten years old, they are allowed to choose their own surname. It is common for
siblings to all have different last names, although wife’s usually change their name to their husbands when married.

-Murdering one of your own kind is one of the worst things you could ever do in their eyes, that is one of the reasons why many think the human race to be disgusting. If they murder one of their own, they will be basically exiled from the species, and then the killing of the murderer would be greatly justified.

-Last words of your parents are very sacred to them. If their parents are dying, they will travel halfway across the world just to hear the last words from their dying parent’s mouth.

-If their bodies recognize that they’re falling for a few seconds, it will change into a gliding form to help them survive. Same if they hold their breath while suspended in water for about 15 seconds.

-The reason they haven’t tried to take over the world, is because they were born just before Man, and has always seen human kind as the rulers of the land, as God has intended them to be. They also recognize man as a need considering they need human blood to survive.

-They are all very protective about their pets. One of the worst offenses you could give them is to harm or disrespect their pets. The reason for this is the fact that the creatures often think of their pets as family, or even as their own children considering most creatures never find a spouse to have children with.

-It is said that their insanity is the part of their minds that knows everything they need to do for survival, often thought of their connection with God.

-The Human Twin” as they call them, are people who greatly resemble the creatures. Every creature has one, and because their insane sides are very protective of them, they only know they must protect them, and keep them safe. It is said that in the days the human twins start being found, is when their species shall soon be revealed to man.
Human twin’s often share the same taste in food, the same face, height and body weight, and they also seem to share the last name with the creature whom their twinned to. Not to mention the same accents and usually siblings or close family are twins of the siblings and family of that creature. Not all the time though, it is possible for a creature to have a brother while their twin does not, but usually in those cases the creature brother’s twin is the cousin of the human or so.

-The creature’s nationality and accents are generally not base on where they were born, it is based off the nationality of their human twins. The reason for this is so they would have an idea on where to look for their human double gangers. This is why Oliver has a British Accent when he was born in a small village in Canada.

-Most hate to be compared to Vampires and will be greatly insulted if you do to their face. Some say that their ancestors actually created the rumors and legends of Vampire’s so people wouldn’t think them to be it, considering they’re always in the light.

-Because the creatures are psychopaths at birth, they are able to work quickly and calmly in tense situations, helping them to fight in wars and take victims for their blood supply without remorse or fear of being caught.

-Animal blood can be eaten by the creatures to help them digest, but it doesn’t work as perfectly as human blood does, even risky with some. It’s often not worth the risk of something going wrong. They also can drink tree sap, but it won’t act as a substitute for blood. As an added note, they can’t drink blood from a small handful of animals because of what they eat, like Seagulls, pigs, and sloth, though they can drink rat blood, but it’ll make them sick.

-Their hair can move on its own, without them thinking about it but they can practice controlling it to act as an extra limb, provided the length and such.

-Unlike most animal’s with claws, these creatures whole end of their fingers and toes actually end in hard points, so they don’t exactly have nails. The needles on their arms and legs are the same, but with no bones inside like fingers.

-They are incapable of dying of old age, but they are just as prone to disease and bloods lose as humans are.

-They were all born with the talent to decipher the moves to dance to for each song they hear, because of this; they are able to dance in sync with each other without problem or practice, even if it’s a song they haven’t heard before. It also helps them with their insanity, letting them blow off steam and feel less inclined to kill on whim.

-They have an annual dancing festival sometime in the summer where they dance around a bonfire all night long as celebration of going one more year without extinction. They usually sleep a whole 24 hours after that, to make up for the all-nighter.

-Like Geese, they usually have only one mate per lifetime, in respect to the shortage of females. They will remarry if they fall in love, but it is very rare since they are also very well known for crystal clear memories for missing their former spouses.

-They can transplant organs and such to human and have them be compatible, but it’s rare. It is also impossible to transfer the organs that work directly with the blood (such as the heart and liver), because their blood is so different from humans.

-Because they are all cloaked by illusions, they all have a potential to be magic users, but like people, some are born with the talents while others have to work on it.

-They have a form of puberty called the “Depressive state”, so called for the fact that they go into a spiraling depression until they find a purpose in life, whether it be finding a spouse to take care of and have a family with, or a profession to spend their time. If they do not find either within a certain amount of time, they will start to go suicidal, to which many have lost their lives. Generally this begins between 14 and 15, or around 200 human years.

-It is possible to cross-breed a human and creature, but the child will have severe organ trouble considering the harsh mixture of their blood, and they will usually not live beyond 19.

-Despite their usual ill intentions towards most humans, if most creatures see that a human is in desperate need of help because of a wrong done to them by another human, the creature will take compassion on them and act on their own instincts. This being the case, their actions may vary from taking the person in and caring for them, or “Putting them out of their misery”.

-they are usually very well at adapting to the new technologies, clothing styles, and speech patterns, because they live through so many generations.

-Some can use their tails to pick locks, proving their tails to be a greater use than for looks.
