“I don’t like zis!” the blond diver told his passenger.

“Like it or not Ludwig, her father’s our ally. He’s an idiot, but it just makes him all the more usable. Besides, you’re an ex-cop, and you wouldn’t stand for it either. Now drive closer and hold still, we’ve got one shot at this!”

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

You walked down the dark street, slightly buzzed from the bar you were coming from. You had walked there with a bunch of friends, but after a few drinks, they all seemed to disappear. Deciding they left without you, you left before you could get completely drunk.

You wobbled slightly down the sidewalk, trying to hurry home. You knew your father ran with a rough crowd, but you didn’t exactly know how brutal each and every one of them was. He usually has one or two watch over you, but he wasn’t at home when you left, so he couldn’t make any assignments.

Strange noises caught your attention, but it being practically pitch black, you couldn’t see the source. Soon, headlights hit you brightly. You shielded your eyes and looked to the car that pointed to you in confusion.

For the longest time, nothing happened and all that could be heard was the white noise of the engine.

“_______ (last name)?” a voice called from the vehicle.

“Yeah…” you called back uneasily.

You swore you heard a gun cock. “Sayonara *BEEP*.”

Before any of you knew it, the screech of tires erupted through the night air, catching everyone’s attention. A midnight blue convertible sped by you so fast, you wouldn’t have seen it had you not been scooped up into it.

You sat motionless as it took you a bit to realize that your feet were no longer on the ground, and you were now in the arms of a man who had shotgun in the convertible. As your brain attempted to register all that just happened, you could hear a voice cheer with adrenaline.

“Whoo! Alright Ludwig, that was so perfectly timed!” the man holding you laughed.

You looked to the driver in confusion to see a proud smile on his face. “Danke Luciano!

“You alright ragazza?” the one called Luciano looked at you. It was hard to see in the darkness of the night, but it almost looked like this fellow had like, shredded mouse ears, that were blue to boot.

You dismissed it to be the alcohol and looked back at where you previously stood. “Y-you just scooped me up?” you called over the wind.

“Yep, it was easy cause you’re so light.” Luciano grinned.

“But…with how fast you were going, you should’ve been knocked out of the car!”

“Nope, got my brick wall of a German helper to hang onto me while I was sweeping you off your feet.” Luciano winked. He suddenly curled himself around you middle and pushed your head down as gunshots were heard. “Scusi~” he smiled pleasantly at you.

He quickly set you in the back seat and reached down at his feet to pull out a gun. “Lay down on the seat Ragazza, you’ll be safer down there.” He told you. As you obeyed, you watched him quickly move his driver’s head out of the path of a bullet. The front widow gained a hole and almost shattered.

“The Ragazza’s one thing, but you try to hurt Ludwig…” Luciano growled as he pulled out another gun, aiming both at the car that chased you.  He began to shoot and you covered your ears from the sound. “Oh yes, you’re _______ (last name), am I correct?” he called over the wind.

“Just so long as you don’t shoot me for it!” you growled.

“Oh no, your father and I are good friends. Well, not exactly we’re in business together and I hope to gain favor from him for helping you- Oh *BEEP*!” Luciano dodged another bullet, but in the process got hit by another in the shoulder. A simple nick, but it bled all the same. “Oh you *BEEP*-ers are gonna pay for that!!”

To your great surprise, he stood up on his seat and faced the cars behind yours. His sky blue rat tail swiveled in excitement and he bent over and placed his clawed hands on the back of the seat.

“Sit down you idiot!” you screamed at him.

He ignored you and leaped off the back of the vehicle high into the air, flipping onto the car chasing you. Your mouth was left agape as you watched him begin to toss out the men from their car. You watched him grab one and hold its neck up to his face for some reason, but it was too dark to tell what he was doing, although you could see a trail of blood flying in the air behind him.

“Ludwig!” Luciano called out. The driver of your car began to slow down just a bit before Ludwig spun around the wheel, whirling the car around in an uncontrolled cookie. You gripped the seats in order to stay in place and not fly out.

“Veres your seatbelt Liebling?” Ludwig called back to you. You quickly put it on as the car swerved past the car Luciano was standing on. He still held one of the men in his grasp who he tossed into the back seat of the blue convertible, right next to you.

The fellow was unconscious and although you were afraid of him waking up. You quickly buckled him in, so he wouldn’t be thrust from the seat by Ludwig’s erratic driving.

Luciano jumped into the front seat, losing his balance for a second and almost falling out before you quickly grabbed him and yanked him into the seat.

“Grazie Ragazza, that would have hurt.” He smiled back at you. “Grazie as well for buckling him in, I would hate to lose him.”

He reached back, grabbed your chin and left and abrupt kiss on your lips.

You yanked away from his grip. “W-what the heck was that?! Also, who the heck are these guys?” you shouted over the wind.

“Roma’s men. As if being at constant war with me wasn’t enough, he felt the need to make a personal enemy of my allies as well.” Luciano explained darkly.

“What does that have to do with me?”

“Ignorance is bliss, eh Ludwig?” Luciano smirked as he nudged his driver. “Let’s keep it that way, shall we?”

“Vell don’t you zink she’d like at least some form of explanation?” Ludwig asked.

“Yes, please!” you growled at him.

“Fine.” Luciano turned to you. “Your papa runs with a rougher crowd than you thought ragazza. That will peek you interest enough to ask your father, ask him yourself m’kay?”

You looked at him quietly then sat back in your seat. At that moment, you started to notice everything not quite right about this man. Especially the bright pink colors in his eyes.

“What the heck are you?!” you asked in disbelief. “And where are we going?”

Luciano turned to you and crawled over his seat so his face was close to yours. “I belong to a charming species that were all born to raise Hell. As to our destination, we are headed to a good place for interrogation, then we’ll take you home.”

You did your best to remember landmarks and such while Ludwig drove so you could possibly make your way back if necessary, but the German man drove so fast and unpredictable that it was near impossible to remember the way.

Ludwig pulled up to a warehouse where Luciano got out and yanked the unconscious man from his seat. “I’d keep you out here, but Ludwig’s gotta come in with us so there’ll be no one to protect you.” He told you.

“You mean keep me here?” you growled.

“Yep. Come on now, I’m tired and want to get this done so I can go home.”

You and Ludwig followed after him into the badly light building. Right underneath the only light was a strange looking chair with dry blood all over the arm rests. You flinched at the sight of it and stopped in your tracks.

“Ludwig, if you would?” Luciano asked as he handed the blond the unconscious man. Ludwig strapped the man arms and legs in, with another strap around his middle and neck.
“L-Luciano, what's that?” you asked nervously.

“Italian medieval torture device.” Luciano smiled as he made his way to the man.

You watched with wide eyes as the beast drug a claw down the man’s face, effectively waking him up.

“Morning princess~” Luciano grinned cheerfully.

The man looked around quickly (or at least the best he could with how well he was strapped down). He then settle down and began to sit still and glare straight at the mafia creature that stood before him.

“It’s nothing personal, I just want to know what Roma wanted with little _____ here.” He smiled pleasantly at the fellow. “I always start interrogations with this question, simply because there is an easy way to find the truth. What color is your underwear?”

You and the strapped down man both gave Luciano a strange look before the man spat in Luciano’s direction. You could see the hate in the beast pink flamed eyes, but he simply nodded slightly to Ludwig, who nodded back and walked to the chair. He then leaned behind it, and small click rang through the air, followed by a grunt from the only one sitting.

The victim began to gasp and shift around in the chair, grunting slightly. Luciano laughed and walked up to the fellow, ruffling his hair.

“W-what is this chair?!” the man gasped.

Luciano chuckled ever so pleasantly as his claws curved under the man’s face. “This is a very special chair sir, used in the early days of Italy, but I’ve made some alterations to fit my needs. Anytime you act disagreeable, thick sharp needles will be shoved into your skin wherever the chair touches you.”

Luciano placed his hands on top of the man’s wrists and leaned in, pushing them into the slightly elevated needles hard. The man groaned and struggled.

“Now, do you remember the question?” Luciano asked softly.

“W-white they’re white!” he gasped.

“Boy you need to learn to lie better. Ludwig…”

Click.

“Ahhh! Ah! Fine fine they’re blue cookie monster boxers!”

“That sounds truthful! Ludwig, if you will.”

Ludwig pulled the needle back into the wood and showed the man’s blue underwear by a wedgie.

“Good! Now let’s begin. Why the *BEEP* does Roma want ______ for?” Luciano smiled pleasantly.

“B-Blackmail, he wanted to get more land from her father…”

“Oh that figures, Roma’s obsessed with expanding! I swear the man is going to fall because of it one day. Anyways is that all?”

“N-no, he was planning if her father disagreed, then he would force her to marry one of his grandchildren and kill her father to gain the inheritance…”

“He has grandchildren? Hmph, clever, but that would never happen in the fact that Phillip (father) is an idiot that would probably offer more before the trade was spoken.”

“That was another option of the plan…” the man mumbled.

“Well you’re either smart or really stupid just giving out information that was not asked for. Have you not thought of what Roma will do to a traitor now?”

You could see the man stiffen in fear, but Luciano put his hand to his shoulder. “Don’t worry amico, I would have done much worst to you if you didn’t talk~” he grinned with frightening sharp teeth. “Now then…”

All the straps let the man go at once, making him drop to the ground with an “oof!”.  He quickly got up with groans and blood stains forming in his cloths, proof that the needles had broken through at one point. He began his way to the exit with hast.

“Oh yes, one more thing signore…” a knife was hurtled toward the man and landed at the end of his sleeve, effectively pinning him down. “Tell Roma that Luciano sends his love and my interrogation methods, he’ll take pity on you and not kill you. Roma’s such a softy like that.” He smiled. “Looks like you’ll have some scars to prove it.”

The man nodded nervously and removed the knife from his sleeve, then ran off into the night.

Luciano turned to you and noticed your sickened expression. “What?” He asked. “I always use tortures that leave scars so they have proof of reason why they spoke.”

“Is that your version of compassion?” you spat.

“In a manor.”

“Also what the heck was with that first question, “what color is your underwear”?”

“What? I can’t have a little fun?”

“Luciano, we should get home.” Ludwig announced.

“That’s right, it’s movie night! Wanna join us ragazza?”

“No thank you, I want to go home right now!” you told them with anger rising.

Luciano shrugged. “Okay then.” He waltzed up to you and picked you up, tossing you over his shoulder. You began to scream, but Luciano just griped your thigh with his sharp claws just enough for it to hurt. “Hush up will ya?” he growled.

He tossed you in the back of the convertible as he flopped into the driver’s side. Ludwig looked very unsure about this, but when Luciano told him to get in, he simply agreed. He fastened his seatbelt the instant he sat down, holding tightly to it.

“Might vant to buckle up Frau.” He told you.

“What? Has he gotten his license taken before or something?” you asked sarcastically as the mafia beast started the engine.

“Not possible. Ze police could never catch up with him.”

“What?!”

The second you said that, the vehicle shot through the dark like a dangerous 400 pound blue bullet. You quickly buckled up, especially when Luciano began to navigate through traffic without any sense of slowing down at all.

“ARE YOU *BEEP*-ING INSANE?!!” you screamed.

“Born and raised!” Luciano grinned.

Before you knew it, he swung the back of the car up to the curb of your house. He looked back at you with a smile as you dug your nails into the upholstery.

“We’re here!” he grinned with sharp teeth. You didn’t move, so he sighed and walked around, picking you up bridal style and taking you to the door. “Now little bambina, I want you to go in there and tell daddy everything, m’kay?” he smiled. “I’ll call tomorrow to make sure you did, and if not, I will tell him personally.”

“Why do you want him to know?” you asked bitterly.

“For the blessings~ Now go on, surely you can walk in there yourself.” He set you down and gave you a pat on the rear before walking away. Your mouth was left agape and you took a knife from your purse, hurtling it at him, only to have him turn around and catch it in his teeth.

He smirked and flipped it in his mouth with his tongue before spitting it out. “Want this back?” he asked. You only glared at him, so he shrugged and took a whiff of the blade, sighing pleasurably. “Grazie~” he grinned as he walked back to the car.

You couldn’t help but let a smile escape you lips as you watched the two fellows speed off. Maybe tonight wasn’t such a bad night after all.

So this was supposed to be before the first 2p Italy Not Human story (for those who don't know that, here it is~) : biosyblingingfreaks.deviantart…

So is this going to be a series before the original series, or just a little prequel? Excellent stuff by the way. They actually use that kind of torture in Italy~? Insane Laughter
